Unhappy New Evo, cracked window, help??

I've barely had my IX MR for exactly a week, and on the way to see a friend today on the freeway a rock came out of nowhere and hit my window! it made an immediate crack, about half an inch in diamter. nothing too big, but i was still upset as it is a brand new car.
after talking to my friend about his job and what not for about 4 hours, i come back to my car to leave and the window crack has spread. it's terrible. ive been saving money for a TBE, MBC, and a flash, but if this gets out of hand it will set me back a lot.
anybody have any experience in this? any suggestions on where to get it fixed?
i'll post up pix in about an hour

Call and ask.. easy as that...

In MA all glass is covered, I know that in other states it's not all the same.

If the crack is smaller than a dollar bill in lengh, it can be repaired.

Good luck!

It should be a non deductible claim. I know with my insurance I am allowed 3 glass claims a year. They pay it in full with no penalty to yourself

Each insurance company is diffferent about glass claims, but on the plus side a replacement windshield should only cost you around $200.

it depends if your insurance covers it, jsut call them, i had a huge *** rock basically put a hole in my windshield, took it to the dealer to replace it with an OEM one and i only ended up paying $100, job was over $500 i think

dude glass is like cheap as hell, i work for a body shop here in md and the glass got replaced in the windshield it was like 160+ like 2 hours glass labor so maybe 200 bucks all said and done? is that worth rasing ur insurance over that much of a price?

i'm not going to involve my insurance unless they can cover it without any deductibles. from what i hear some insurance companies cover this, others dont. personally, i think $235 is a bargain compared to raising my insurance.
i have an appointment at 4 tomorrow to get it repaired. ill post pix to show the repair
