I've got the same one on my 9. It cleared but just barely so I heated up the down pipe and gave it a few quick whacks with a hammer. Now it has ample clearance and performs just fine. I'm thinking about hacking the muffler off and putting something a little less rice on it like a 3" flowmaster. I'm not a big fan of the 5" salad shooting mufflers.

Have you thought of the AMS resonator cat delete. I dont have it, but am sure it'll lower the sound.

Thats easy to do but you need to do some drilling- Grupe-S has a Anti CEL for like $10 i think. It works great! Never had a problem

This is what all the eBay exhausts look like. I have the same one and so do a whole ton of other people. Based on responses in this thread, it seems like people just bash eBay parts without actually ever seeing them for themselves.

alright, well today i put in the whole CEL fix (spark plug non-foulers) and yes i drilled the way ur supposed to, then i drove all the way across the state of NC and the SES light is still on? could my o2 be bad? i really f'in hope not since its like $400...

 

I had personal experience and it wasn't so great.

People don't realize that there isn't just one supplier for all these products. There are dozens of factories reproducing copies of these things and they don't all use the same materials.
