There are a handful in the 124-125 range. 129.94 for us.

wow well i must have had higher expectations then this motor really could do.

I was to the assumption that evo IX's could put down around 330 with exhaust, mbc, and a tune.

they can, but that is only going to get you around 12.0@115mph +/- in the 1/4 mile.

Well that just sucks ball, its thats the case this engine really isnt much better then the evo 8 at all. for me to drop down a second.

From a Evo8 w/ 3" exhaust, MBC 21psi

to a evo9 engine w/
GSC S1 cams
MR metal bov
hallman mbc 23 PSI "93 octane"
Buschur Downpipe/testpipe 3"
RnR 3" catback exhaust
HKS RS intake
AMS fmic
AMS Licp
Ets Uicp
Fuel pump 255 walbro
Ebay o2 housing
MR SS exhaust manifold
Stock Evo9 turbo
ACT clutch/ Prolite Flywheel
Jestr Tuned.

I just dont see it being worth modding at all. so with all the mods i added even swaping the motor you think itall only run low 12's?
I just need to fix this oil leak so i can go run the **** out of it at the track.

I Trapped 116 @28 psi + meth. Just womdering why would you care about trap speed, rather focus on 1/4 mi.

I don't know why you did that in the first place. The differences are minimal between the 8 and 9 most coming from the turbo and better head. Most will never see over 118 maxed out 8's/9's on the stock turbo.

With an IX turbo on pump gas, depending on your mods, its going to range from 114-117 with FULL bolt on mods. Add meth, and you can go closer to 120. Get rid of some weight... should definitely be there.

There are some guys running crazy traps with IX/stock turbos but they have significant modifications and some are using nitrous. Not sure if you want to go that route. I went 118mph on pump gas at 24psi on my stock 8 turbo. While that is not normal for most people, Im sure if I threw meth on there I would have went 120-121mph.

I had many run-ins with Cobras. I never had a problem with any of them, (except that KB2.2 one hehe).

I listed my mods up above, honestly i cant think of anything else to "bolt on" besides me getting a bigger snail and going that route.

Oh and swaped the engine because my evo8 block was damaged and i got a good deal on this evo9 engine so i made it work. Honestly i dont see a problem with me doing that because its better even if its just a tiny bit better then the evo8 block if its a step up then im fine.

basically if im wanting to run in the 11's more then likely im going to have to make it around that 120mark from what ive been trying to figure out. if 12.0@115 is a good geustiment, then 120 should be around 11.8's maybe lower i dunno, Ill just find out in a few weeks when the track open's again.
