Highest Trap w/ IX Turbo

Basically me and this douchebag domestic guy with his cobra said he could trap 120ish with his mods i said ok cool

With my 03 evo and exhaust, mbc i ran 12.9@107, now i have a complete bolt on IX and he said how am i going to go from traping at 107 to anywhere near his trap.... So I'm just wondering about whats the highest trap speed on the stock IX turbo with bolt ons

I did 110 mph at 21 psi on crappy 91 octane on a terrible 60', so i think between 110-115 mph.....but 120mph will be a hard thing to do!

I've personally done 110 w/ only pre-cat exhaust mods and a tune. I've witnessed a rough tuned IX run nearly 112 w/ turbo back, intake and EBC. Both of these runs were in 90º heat.

So, I think 118 is very possible on an IX ... MIVEC won't make that big of a difference, so you should be able to get 115 with a good tune.

Even 118mph will be a hard thing to do....at the end of the day it depends on the driver. But 120 mph is hard thing to accomplish....

DubIX on these boards i have seen run 11.8 @ 118 with meth though(he might have trapped higher b4, but this is the highest i seen personally), u wont trap that high on pump gas with those mods.

I'm not sure if a cobra trapping at 120 is normal either.

--offtopic--
Personally I dont care what the incorrect wheel drive vehicles run at the track. They have to use slicks and spray the track with glue just to get a decent launch. It's hella more fun to drive out of town away from traffic and line up old school style. Then you get to see a real drag race out of a real street car.

with race gas you shuld be able to go 118 with out too much trouble. 120 is doable

i forgot to mention my car is about 250 lbs lighter, and i dont have to worry about acd straining my drivetrain. But who knows i geuss i wont until i fix this oil leak anyways.

I mean im not a professional driver, but I was impressed with my 12.9@107 with my evo 8 with exhaust and 21psi.

Er, are you kidding? The Terminator Cobras (03-04) make SILLY power with minor bolt-ons. They often dyno very close to 400RWHP stock - throw on a smaller pulley with a little exhaust and it's ridiculous what they can do.
