Good Magazines

Are there any EVO specific magazines on the market today? I used to own a mustang and always subscribed to 5.0mustang, and Fast Fords. How bout for evos or sti's, any specific magazines for either of these cars?

No Evo mags that I'am aware of.Although SuperStreet,Modified Mag, and ImportTuner feature an Evo almost monthly.I have gotten a good idea about what I want to do to mine by seeing what other Evo owners have tried.

^ None, there aren't enough Evo owners out there to warrant an actual publication... hence why you really only see BMW and Mustang magazines on a regular basis at your local bookstore.

I personally like Sport Compact Car. They're all Evo nut-hangers which suits me just fine. Lots of Evo media in there. Most of the other mags feature some of the ugliest, riced-out, poorly thought out Evos I've ever seen. When I see a magazine featuring canards on Evos, anything related to Honda, or a drifting feature on the cover I walk away.

SCC is my favorite as well. They have the least amount of rice, the most class, the greatest testing, and above all USCC

Dave Coleman is a damn genius. Its nice that he still does a Q and A every month

The only car mag that's worth buying and reading nowadays is GrassrootMotorsports , SCC used to be OK but not anymore.

I prefer Sport Compact Car and Modified for import related stuff. Turbo has some good articles, but it lacks substantial reading material (aka it's too thin). The recent Turbo with the Buschur cars featured was an exception.

Turbo is good and if you can find the new "Project Car" mag...maybe they'll work on an Evo?
