Sport Compact Car is my recommendation. They only focus on go, with ZERO emphasis on show. They constantly feature Evos. Although I can't say that they have specific articles on Evos every month, they have some excellent technical articles that are applicable across multiple vehicles.

Grassroots Motorsports is the best.

Turbo magazine is good too. Although did anyone notice that the technical editor referred to Subarus as essentially being a FWD platform with AWD added to it. That is very wrong, the Subie has a longitudinally mounted motor with the gearbox at the rear and the transfer case is built into the rear of the gearbox housing. The Evo is a FWD set up with the transfer case added and it has the transversally mounted engine.

That's pretty crappy if the "technical editor" wrote it

I have subscriptions to grassroots, modified, and scc. Grassroots sucks. It has some good articles, but has very little Evo related material, and the photography is horrendous. Sport Compact Car used to be very good, but I think lack of funding has recently contributed to a decrease in page count and quality content. Modified is my favorite. Modified Mag has high quality photos, tons of quality content, lots of Evo coverage, and also cover national events (time attack and drifting).

True. For a while I was wondering if Sport Compact Car would become a monthly newsletter.

I get Dsport, Import tuner, Modified mag, Sport compact car, and Turbo sent to my house and my Dad get all the mustang mags, Needless to say our mail lady loves us.

The five import mag I mentioned are pretty evo friendly

I'd say the opposite on both counts actually. SCC has gotten much better in the past year after that one editor left. He made SCC way to ricey. The new guys have upped the technical content. I'll take quality over quantity anyday. For quantity over quality, there's Superstreet

While Modified has lots of pretty pics, very little useful technical data.

I haven't looked at Grassroots in a while, but at least a little while back, some of their tech info was significantly incorrect.

The August edition of Redline mag had a pretty sweet evo in it.
