I got $21K for my 03 G35 Coupe w/the brembos/Navi/Bose System/43,xxx miles and the KBB Suggested retail on the car was I think about $26K.I traded the car in for the EVO of course.Even though I still owe about $37K I am totally happy that I got the EVO.Private party was about $25K.If you can sell the car yourself because you will get a hell of a lot more than trading a car in to the lame dealership.

I just traded in my car on sunday and This is how the deal went.

Got 18636 ACV For my 04 EVO GSR BLK with 31k on it, cars in decent shape, it was my daily but babied.

I bought a 05 G35 Coupe Navi, w/ 20k on it for 24500

@ first they offered me 17,000 (ACV) ACTUAL CASH VALUE.... or WHOLESALE

After some heavy nagotiating i got the car what they owned it for and they gave me 1500 more for my trade.

Make sure you get the price of the car you want first before telling them you want to trade yours in.

Just out of curiosity i went to a bmw dealer, told him i wanted a M3. They offerd me $25000 for my 9 mr with only 4000 miles on it. I laughed, when i was leaving his used car manager offered me $29,500. I will never sell my evo, it was just for kicks, but i was pissed off. If u wanna sell ure car, private party is the way to go. My buddy sold his 05 sti to some wannabe ricer, 17 yr old kid(his parents paid for it). He got $27000 for his 05 sti with 31k on it. (only mods were an exhaust and some stickers). Now my buddy has a 9 gsr, he made bank. He bought the evo for 30k, not bad at all.
