I have seen several Ariel Atoms at the road course HPDE events I attend, and I have to say I have been very unimpressed. Maybe its just that the owners don't know how to drive them yet, but I beat an Atom around Streets of Willow in my MIATA. I harrassed him (sitting on his bumper) for a lap or so, and then he pointed me by and I never saw him again.

I'm sure a properly set up EVO would clobber an Atom on a road course.
