intercooler and a tune

so just bought a turbo xs intercooler and wanted to know if it is necessary for me to get a tune right after.. before i get flammed, i have all bolt on (cams/full exhaust/fuel pump/intake with all pipes and the boost controller to name a few) and i am tunned and was told that i was in need of a intercooler since i was getting heatsoaked really easily and was holding power back.. i was tunned with a 11.0 afr with it hitting 10.4 at a time.. im trying to figure out if imma run lean or rich by throwing on this intercooler because i wanna hold out on my tune until i get my cutout.

to maximize your intercooler you will need a tune, but it isn't critical. I would just wait until you get more mods.

you don't have to get it tuned right after, but it will help, and you will want to, to feel gains from the intercooler

I wouldn't pay for a retune for just an I/C
