Roadtrip!!
Ahhhhh you are all babies. I took a trip from chicago to colorado, to go skiing. It was in my buddys 05. He had cruise control put on it, and it worked like a charm. Got great gas mileage over 24mpg, untill we had to start climbing some mountains, then of course it went down. No draw backs at all, the ride is really not that hard at all. Try driving a evo with full coilovers, set to the stiffest settings, now thats HARD.
I drove about 800 miles last weekend on a trip to Door County (WI) and elsewhere and the evo was great. There's no denying it's loud and it tempts you to do things you probably shouldn't, but it's so much fun to drive and get on the boost every once and awhile to wake you up.
I think the seats are great and I didn't miss the cruise control, but my lower leg did fall asleep a few times.
It's city driving that I find absolutely terrible. Sometimes I barely get out of second gear.

Jesus you are all pu**ys!
I'm in my 30s, have had back surgery, 2 MAJOR accidents resulting in hospitalization, overweight, and just got out of physical therapy 6 months prior to a 3 day trip from Phoenix, AZ to Wausau, WI (1871 miles). 2 months later, I took a 2 day trip from Wausau, WI, to Cape Canaveral, FL (1493 miles). Both trips, I had ZERO problems with my back or anything else. the only thing I suggest is to take off a shoe and control the throttle with your toe.
The only problem I had was my kitty constantly trying to lay down at my feet during the trip.
I am going to be installing Cruise Control before my next major trip.
