That is the harness for the HKS EIDS I think. I know you can disconnect the box and just insert the white plug like you have in the picture.

I have seen them cause fires, no start conditions and ruin wire harnesses.

When you clip those things down, they cut strands of wire under the insulation, how can this possibly be a good thing?

He is not the first to have a problem with vampire clips or T-taps. Any professional installer or anyone who knows more than the average joe about electrical systems DOES NOT USE VAMPIRE CLIPS. They slip and become loose with vibration and are not recommended by those who know. Solder is the way that works, especially when dealing with components that alter fuel or spark.
