Maybe I'm just a lucky one... just over 52k and no problems with the floor mats.

Mine moves forward/back, but that's about it. It's still there enough that it doesn't get too bad.

I love my clip - it works and has never caused any problem. Guess I'm lucky.

I have found that you can use some heavy duty velcro which can be applied to both the carpet and the floormat. This is how Porsche keeps their floormats from sliding around.

Yeah my clip is stupid too. Plus one of my feet must be retarted because everytime I go somewhere the floormat is MAD crooked to the left. Oh well it's still the EVO ftw!!

Mine slides back and forth with the factory carpet mats too. I have noticed that when I switched to the rubber all weather factory ones they slide a lot less because they are heavier and grip the carpet better.

not sure if you guys are talking about the same problem I had but if you get aftermarket floor mats all you need to do is take a scissor and cut a tiny hole on the new mat and just hook it to your factory clip. mine doesnt move at all and works great
