Who else hates their floormat clip?
My damn floormat clip came loose, just like when I had my '03, and my floormat slides forward and backward while I shift. Is there a way to secure it without taking up the carpet? It seems like it only attaches to the carpet and not the floorboard......

I've tried to secure it somehow but gave up after a few minutes. I've been thinking about getting underneath the carpet an using some strong double sided tape....probably won't work though....
I also hate my floor mats because they never stay in place.

I thought I was the only one, any answer would be much appreciated! Its a real pain, everytime I get back in I have to move it over from the dead pedal.

LOL the dreaded clip!! Lets see what I did.... I took a f*cking sewing needle and thread to try to keep it in place. It DID not work. I even got pulled over by a cop screwing with this floormat. story: I was driving and the stupid floormat got stuck under the gas pedal so instead of pulling over and fixing it, I decided to just bend down and fix it (I'm tall so I have long arms and can still see the road) So at 3:30 in the morning, I am doing 5mph in a 25 bent over fooling with the floormat. Cop sees me and asks if I am drunk LOL, I open the door and show him the stupid floormat and he lets me leave.
I have since then put in EVO 9 Carpet and new floormats which fixed the issue for a while. Now the floormat does not unhook but slides crooked and looks stupid.
I swore some company had a metal insert or something that would prevent them from putting wear marks on them as well.
