Question Need some quick help !

I went to take my K&N intake off to peform a boost test and found a gray plug disconnected. the wire is tied into the the same wires going to the MAF. What is this? The wires are lite green, and yellow/red. I dont want to drive it before i figure out what this plug is for

its for the stock boost control sol. the car came with a greddy profec ll and i did not realize what it was til you said that. the car now has a mbc. Can that stay unpluged? the stock solonoid is not there and the greddy one was sold with the unit. I have a CEL from it but this would not effect performance would it?

The CEL will stay because the electrical connection is broke. The only downfall is that you won't know if you get another CEL. If it were me I'd order a new one to put in there just to have the connection. I think they are around $45 or so. It shouldn't affect performance at all though.
