Just wondering what you RS owners feel about no radio, no power anything, etc when daily driving.

 

u buy the car you get speakers... and a radio.... and its just like driving any other car with no power windows.. you learn to live with it...

 

Put a nice exhaust on it and you can't hear the dam radio anyway :-)

 

My 72 bug has no power windows, no heat, no A/C, and I finally put a radio in it this year. I can tell you it sucks to drive sometimes.

 

Its no big deal. You get used to it really fast and completely forget about it when you mash the gas pedal.
Then when you ride in somebody elses car it feels like
you are in the future.

 

the RS didn't meant to be a daily driver.
its like eating the ice cream with fork and knife.

 

The stock system is so depressing, I rarely listen to the radio anyway. I can't wait til I get time to put a system in.

 

I listen to MP3s on my palm treo on long drives (1 hr+), I commute 1 hr each direction everyday, I love the sound of the car, and I know immediately if there's any funny noises. I've had a few.

Manual windows are nice because there are no motors to break or short out if track in the rain, and when people throw you the universal sign for rolling down your window, you hold true to it

I love my RS, have been daily driving it since Feb. '06, and have 45k on odo!

Put it this way my 31 year old GF wouldnt have it any other way. Though ive added PDL and a stereo system

This may sound weird....I had a 05 VIII RS and I didnt put a radio in it. I sold the VIII and bought a IX RS. I put a radio and just front door speakers in, and never listen to it....hahaha

 

i daily drive my IX rs everyday just barely installed a stereo and speakers and now it kinda annoys me if the radio is too loud...im used to hearing the cars before the evo had an s2000 top was loud as hell plus the exhaust
