How do i get this thing off. I am trying to go through the bottom. I have the o2 sensor wrench. I have a crowfoot one and a standard one. I can get the o2 sensor wrench on the sensor but how do i get it out? I have no where to turn this thing. It seems like the only way to do it is to pull out the radiator...

Am i missing something here?

I took mine off out of the car. You can unplug the sensor underneath the spark plug cover.

 

I just had this problem pulling my 2nd O2 housing. we had so much torque on it that it was twisting the metal in the cat housing.

ended up hitting the cat base with a torch, then the O2 sensor came right out

 

+1 for heat! It usually works.

 

Used a metal broom handle for a breaker bar and walla, it came out!
