I have 7k on my EVO9. The stock clutch holds 350whp fine with stock tires. However, when I run 255 NT01 tires I can not launch the car. A 5k launch with r compound tires results in major slipping and stink.

Inspecting the the clutch its still in like new condition but simply cannot hold the modded power and increased grip.

Mine only lasted 12-13k, its my daily driver and I did a lot of driving events back then.
1st clutch with original owner (drove like a maniac) under 5k miles (He didnt know how to drive stick).

2nd clutch (He still didnt know how to drive stick) 5k - till 8,300miles

1st and 2nd clutch we with mods untuned. Once I tuned it it just ate up the clutch because it couldnt hold the power.

I bought the car (I dont beat the car and it is daily driven), and yes after I knew 100% that the tranny was still some how in mint shape (I guess he just slipped the clutch all the time and burnt through clutches and didnt grind any gears!) then upgraded to exedy and holding strong! couldnt be happier

~23k miles for me with only a handful of launches and regular occasional spirited driving. Mods going in (as soon as the mailman arrives!) and we'll see how long it lasts.

About to hit 19k, and it is slipping like a ****... waiting in the garage until the ACT HDSS arrives, hopefully tomorrow... along with an ACT Streetlite flywheel, Works Short Shifter, SS Clutch line, and Powerflex motor mounts!

My evo 9 as my first MT car, so not so good. I have a year on it with 6k and already have the clutch slipping. At most maybe 20 launches, so yea, I'm not a good driver.

the 50K guys are amazing!
Mine was starting to slip at 22, so upgraded to the ACT before it gave out.
Probably launched badly twice. One track day, then occasional (i.e. once a week) launching. Also a daily driver with 20 mile round trip - lots of shifting.

an old time evo head told me that if your stock evo clutch lasts to twenty thousand, you drive like a *****. haha thought it was kinda funny. i got 4300 out of mine 1/4 mile racing every weekend. i got 17,000 on my act clutch with no problems yet

Replaced first one at 14K. Second one started slipping at 22K, replaced it with an ACT and I am at 93K and going strong.
