Im kinda of scared of my wing flying off and hitting someones car.

Can I drill holes on a carbon trunk and install oem carbon wing ? Will wing add dangerous amounts pressure on a carbon fiber trunk ? Is the wing to heavy for a carbon trunk? I ask because I noticed there are two types of carbon fiber trunks, LIGHT WEIGHT TRUNK HOOD and LIGHT WEIGHT TRUNK HOOD/ C.KEVLER (GT-WING spec)

Its completely capable of handling the stock wing

Just triple check your measurements before you put a drill to your $500 hood

been doin it for almost 4 yrs ITS STILL ATACHED.... lol. Make sure you REALLY want the wing. I really wish i hadnt drilled the holes.

 

leave the wing off... they look much better IMO without the wing on carbon trunks

 

I agree, luckily mine got stolen and I just ended up shaving a stock trunk and adding the rexspeed trunk lip for a much cleaner look.
