I know mitsulogger is free but I like the fact that on evoscan you can put custom guages on your laptop. I was kinda iffy about evoscan cause it cost $ and I recover my computer alot. So... Does that mean that if i pay for evoscan and recov my comp I gotta pay for evoscan again or what? Thanks in advance.

in a week or two evoscan will have a major upgrade, you might wait for it.

evoscan is still evolving mitsulogger is in remission currently.

Mitsulogger is very good, I go to it before evoscan. But evoscan now has a few worthwhile features mitsu does not. check / clear codes. will soon have map tracing
and multiple innovate inputs.(currently both mitsu and evoscan only do single innovate inputs.
I have logworks too, its number one, until the new version of evoscan comes out.
then again logworks is a great back up.

i installed mine when my computer had a virus so the install didnt go threw right. I forgot to save my number then tried to email the person who made evoscan but he never answered. Horrible customer service, im out 30 bucks and im currently using mitsulogger.

 

Evoscan is definitely more feature packed than Mitsulogger right now but at the same time Mitsulogger will give you the information that you need. Also, it's my understanding that currently the load calculation in Evoscan is broken.

With that said, I use both. I like some of the graphing features of Evoscan as well as the alarms that you can configure.

 

what kinda email server are you using? i used my spare yahoo account...received email from aktivematrix server within 2mins. If you're using a small business email or something not global like ...yahoo/hotmail/gmail...it may take sometime to get through.

I liked evoscan for daily logging since I can setup gauges and glance over during a pull to make sure everything is okay. However, the fuel trims are whack and there isn't a place to plug in upgraded injector sizes/latencies currently. Hopefully they'll fix that in the new version.

so for my customers that need their injectors saled for big turbo cars I always suggest mitsulogger because it has a place to fill in the injector size/latencies and does the fuel trims right.

I know that 2byteload is the way to go for accurate load values and I know you can modify the evoscan files for injector sizes but neither is easy for some customers.
