My girlfriend's mom and her boyfriend flew out from the Philippines and that dude had some major rankness. Like, he came from the ghetto part of the islands or something, but we had to Febreeze her car and keep the windows open when driving around and parked in the garage for 3 days straight before the smell went away. Febreeze works wonders. We had driven around for 3 days before that without the Febreeze to try to air it out and it didn't kill the smell at all.

actually yes i did... when i smelt something reek on his exit, i decided to steathily bury my face in the passenger seat to confirm my suspicions.

not a horrible idea...

To everyone else thanks for the helpful tips, i will try the lint roller/vacuum combo and febreze. On a related note, any recommendations for a pleasant smelling effective car freshener other than febreze?//

Try to keep a couple of those scented Pine Trees handy, and make him wear 'em around his neck next time or he's walking

how can someone stink so bad that his assprints on the seat can leave a raunchy rank stink. Must've been all that *** sweat. If I had a friend who stunk so bad I would never, ever let him inside my house or car.

I had a friend who I used to drive with me to our tech school years ago who literally smelled like BO/Feet/A$$ at the same time.. I swear I could never get the smell out of the car.. It does eventually fade, but unfortunately with permeable materials, it gets trapped in the foam and other padding (think time release farts)
What works best these days is fabreeze and a good vacuum which has good suck.. LOL, seriously, spray the fabreeze, try to get it sucked into the seat foam, then use a vacuum on the seats..

Other than that, it takes time to air out, most of the time it comes out unless the body you have in the trunk is decomposing...

Oh, and put a garbage bag over the seat, or those scuba material seat covers, the ones the surfer dudes use on their cars if you don't want to offend Jabba that he should get a reacharound stick.

Time release farts/*** sweat haunt my beautiful Recaro passenger seat also. I'm probably gonna sell it for a new one and not advertise the haunted seat part.

That happened the first time I rode with my dog in the evo- hooked a curve then stomped the gas in a rural area, then I smelled this horrific stink. I literally scared the **** out of him. Runny poop all over the rear carpet, had to clean that up then go to an evoM meet in Fayetteville. Those guys thought it was hilarious, i didn't think so.

1. Febreeze

2. The Pine tree air fresheners are ok but I have found that the best ir fresheners are (and no I am not ghey) the Yankee Candle Co. Car air freshener. Don't get the one with the liquid that sticks into the A/C vents, get the cardboard one that you can hang on the lirror or onto the gear shifter. Midsummer night, Coconut Bay or Ocean Water- packages on their website for about $6
