smelly seat

ok this is embarassing but whatever i need some advice.

So i have a friend who is smelly. He was riding in my car today, when he gets out not only is my seat smushed... b/c hes a huge fello, but my ****ing car reaks... it ends up being my actual seat. I have an IX SE with the suede seats. How does one clean those or... well... remove a smell, b/c i know that type of material is a ***** to maintain. and on that topic how do you guys clean those? just vacuum?

anyways hope you can help my smelly problem rofl...

matt

lmao. Interesting situation. For Alcantara fabric, you can vacuum and use lint rollers to clean every spec of dirt. Febreze is good for smell.

unless he was covered in **** it should be able to just air out, just keep the windows open for the day... I can't see how this can happen but if it's as bad as you say it is maybe you need to tell him to shower and wash his clothes

I rented a rug doctor with the apolstry attachments and did my seats. They came out looking as good as new and soft as the new alcantara I have on a roll.

Same problem, but my friend's feet reek. Occasionally he'll go barefoot and the smell will stay in the floor mats. Just air it out, or if you can't stand it, febreeze works nice and quick. Smelly friends are funny.

spray lightly with fabreeze, brush with a very soft brush... then just leave the windows open for an hour or so.

If it isn't good after that you can look into a steam cleaner, but you might have to worry about mold in the fabric after that.

PS. Tell your friend he smells like ****, it might hurt now but it will make both of your lives much better. It is also acceptable to tell him hes a fatass and there is a TSB on your seats breaking
