It's pretty simple to modify the stock crash beam to make it fit behind the jdm bumper. I did it when i installed my jdm bumper. You just have to cut the mounting bracket off the beam then cut square plate off the bracket and weld it back on the beam, lining up the holes. But if you dont have a welder i think a longer bolt and a washer will work. If someone want to know pm me and ill check mine for clearence.

If you want a bolt on option

If you don't want to cut up the stock bumper support you could get one of the custom built ones from the Race Shop. I know they have them in stock and ship the same day you order. The Race Shop crash bar provides better support and protection to the rear of your car, incase you are rear ended, than a modified stock bar. It also makes the installation very easy . PM me and I can get you the info you need if you want to go this route.

Its about the same weight as the stock one

It may be a pound heiver, but I would need to check to be sure.
