Does anybody know where I can buy or who still sells the EVO 9 MR JDM (CHROME BLACK) Headlights? The only ones I see for sale are the EVO 8 MR JDM (MATTE BLACK) ones. I called lancershop and Vivid racing and they DON'T carry the Chrome Black JDM ones. If anybody know of a website or vendor that sell the JDM EVO 9 MR (Chrome Black) ones please let me know, please leave me a comment or PM me. Thanks guys!

Most people are going for the flat black ones from what it seems. Personally, I like the look of the 9s much better.

JDM heads are definitely are my next addition to my evo. I am a fan of the Matte ones over the chrome ones.

 

So I know this isn't an answer to your question, but you kind of got me thinking of which direction I want to take my headlights (have the non-hid ix headlights and want hid/fogs) but could you theoretically swap pop the cover off and swap the housing from a set of ix headlights into a set of viii jdm headlights to get the chrome black housing?

 

I think the EVO 9 JDM chrome black ones are darker than the stock USDM ones.

 

just looking at mine vs the ones in the pics above they look like the same color of housing, just the larger area is amber on jdm and chrome on usdm giving the appearance of being darker. Of course I could be wrong and if I am someone please correct me as I may just swap the housings when I get a set of hids and do the jdm mod.
