He was very nice, It looked like he was having a blast out there! I am impressed with that car anyway, he did alot of work to it. He had his exhaust bouncing off the tarmac, but other then that, it held up fine. They (You in NY) are great people!!! Maybe he will get the convoy back on the road and join us again. Tell him I say Hello!

 

yea from what he was saying they put the car together the week before the event. The car is really quick on the street also

I'm down for another go-'round!! I've had an awesome time at the last 2 events, even though I've had my share of setbacks. In WWII I was late getting to the drag strip and arrived just in time for a downpour that lasted the rest of the night. In WWIII, I had a new car going together that didn't even run 24 hours before the race.

For WWIV, if I get picked for the team, I'll be back with 50% more power and 50% more grip (if the tire rules you alluded to earlier end up making it into the final rules ;-)

Hope to see you again!!! Tire rules will "stick" LOL. ANY DOT tire is game. Drags will have an interesting twist. It will be like last year still, without the hotlapping, and we keep racing to find out who the "King of the hill" is in each run group. More........of course........later! LOL.

 

I'm coming back with 50% more power too! haha Not sure what the hell we'll do with that much but I am going to bring it! Just busting some *****.

Smoked, how about one set of DOT tires for the Autocross and one set of DOT tires for the drags

 

You know me, I like to say yes to everything! BUT, the rules guys tell me "TIRE CHANGES" only allowed in TOP GUN class. It is looking like (Remember the fact I usually speak too soon before the ink on the rule book, is dry but.............) I think we will do the 3 passes on the strip for the "Team Portion" like last year, and those 3 runs will get you "indexed" for an "Open Comp" style finale for your group. The rules will be out soon, but for those who don't understand how it works, it is something like this:

If you average 15 seconds in the quarter mile, and line up against a 10 second car, YOU leave the line 5 seconds earlier, and THE CHASE IS ON!!! You lose, you sit down. Winner keeps going till we have an OVERALL Class DRAG CHAMPION! We will still have the 1/2/3rd place trophies like last year, BUT we want to keep giving more trophies away, so we need to know who the KING OF THE HILL is on the Dragstrip.

It surely would be fun to make rounds like that but I am sure tech is going to grap us up pretty quick like they did last year. So we'll probably only get on 1 or 2 runs before we get thrown off the dragstrip like last year! haha

 

You might have to lower your MBC to 10psi, or wear your Nomex Thong! At least you got to scorch some wicked numbers before the NHRA police pulled you over!

Hey Kevin, I work at the Greenfield Penn Station. I see your car on I-70. Do you work in the area? If so you should stop by and we can have some evo talk . Discount for you. I always hang out with the idiot kids in the SRT4's haha.... I talked to you at the gas station at VP about the 20g vs gt35r vs your turbo now. Can't wait for the Winged Warrior. I have been working hard being a manager for my dad at the Penn Station, working hard in school, and I think I will be able to finally pull of getting an Evo. I'll be participating in WW IV as well! I'm gonna invite the CLUBRSX people

 

Hello there my friend!! I remember you, and you can race your Evo (when you get it),or grab your Mom's car, or rental car, etc... It is going to be fun! I work next to Zoobies in Greenfield on Mondays/Wednesdays. Thanks for spreading the word for me on other sites! (Nice avatar also! )

 

Zoobies, gotcha. Haha, if I can't pull of an Evo (which I doubt :/), than I would just drive my car . I really did appreciate the last WW and I would absolutely love to see it being even more successful. I was also very disappointed to not see any RSX's out there last year, not one. Oh well. Yeah, it's a great pic on my avatar, love it. Thanks and I shall see you sometime soon.

Tim, I put this event on the Honda/Acura boards, and they were the ONLY ones who deleted it off their site. Guess a noobie rule? Not sure. But I was promoting the event on a TON of sites!! The mustang forums even let me register and promote the event on their sites, using my screenname! LOL. Hopefully the playing field will be leveled more, and will entice some of the USA boyz/girlz to come out and join us in the fun.
