Registration OPENs in a week!! Will post rules then also. (Same as last year, but with tire and class "tweaks") Looking to be a great event once again!

Since my car got dousched, that left the media/celebrity shootout portion in doubt this year, as we planned to have a larger "Media/Celebrity shootout" this time around- with them using my car for that again. I got an AWESOME joint venture to put them in some real race cars this go around. Open cockpit racers. More on that once I get the final OK. Is going to be fun. -

Better check out the rules when registration is open. Sound like everyone (me included) will get booted for running under 11.5 without a roll bar and all of our runs for the day will be dsq'd. . .

How does Norwalk Raceway deal with NHRA and insurance isses for all the events you put on out there??

Norwalk will be going to these rules this year also, as they are under NHRA control now. That is what this track told me today. (ORP)

I am not going to discuss Norwalk Raceway Park and how the rules work, sorry.

My suggestion is we move this event to Norwalk though and then we won't have to worry about what ORP is telling you

I tried to make a post on the WW site, typed out a nice long polite post and then lost it. Says I wasn't logged in. Seems the site might need some "work". I'd have liked to work it over with a hammer 10 minutes ago! haha

Site is fixed and bada$$ again! Go check it out. www.wingedwarrior.net Those same rules were in effect last year, but they will probably stick it too us if we mess with their NHRA rules. I am sure they will look a blind eye if you are slightly under the required times for certain saftey equipment. This was more of a "heads up" in case they get testy. Wanted to let you all know.
