have u ever had a problem starting the car?
Never had a problem starting the car. Starts like a champ each and every time

How do these mini battery do on our cars on a daily driving basis with sub
I daily drive with over 1600W stereo system (4 component speakers, 2 dual driver subs, 2 bass shakers, 1 center channel speaker) along with numerous other electrical items with zero problems. On a PROPERLY DESIGNED SYSTEM, the battery is only used for starting the car, or powering electrical items when the engine is not running. In my signature, you will find a link to a group buy on high output alternators that is closing now. if you have an alternator that has enough amp output to power your system, your audio is clearer, your amps and alt isn't working as hard, and your battery has zero draw.

Do people really have no problems running motorcycle batteries in their cars?
I don't know.... none of us are running motorcycle batteries. motorcycle batteries have less amp output and less storage capacity. These are mini batteries that are designed for automotive useage and have the CCA output that meets our needs. If you are asking if we are having no problems with the braile mini batteries, the answer is "correct, we are having no problems"

I don't see why anyone would waste their money on a Fidanza flywheel. A unit which I personally have seen come apart and destroy transmissions more than "a few" times.

To each their own is the answer.

I personally got it because it was only a few dollars more and complemented the other carbon fiber components in my car.

that post wasn't directed towards you...
but whatever
i see you know your flywheels
sorry for speaking out of line and installing a horrible flywheel
i would like to see some proof on your statement, cause i have had a few shops reccomend this flywheel...

its okay to be so much of a carbon fiber ***** you must have a CF battery...

i buy things for performance aspect, not the material its made out of

no i was comparing the two all season batteries....

it still brings me to my point, you pay more just for the fact its CF. now if the battery was lighter or something, that would justify the price difference. i am not sitting here saying you are stupid for have a CF battery, its your car and money, you do what you want. im saying I could never justify MYSELF spending 50 bucks more just for the CF look on a battery

As for the flywheels I am unable to post pictures of the flywheels as they are back home in storage. You may be able to find pictures on the MR2 message boards. within one year 5 came apart on the 3S-GTEs. I was lucky enough to pull a customer's out before the friction ring gear completely came loose. 2 of the lock fasteners had come out. It's due to the multiple material design being used on something that sees extreme temperature variation and the different metals expand at different weight.

Oh, and I definately am a carbon fiber ***** :-)

nice change of your origional post :-) Yup, I paid the extra money for the carbon fiber shell, just like I paid $900 for a carbon fiber trunk. It's performance, apearance and quality I pay for. If it were only performance we were after, we would all be driving turbocharged street legal sand-rails with no bodywork. for less than $10,000 I can make you a 10 second car. Why on earth did we spend 3-4 times that for a SLOWER car... because it looks better and has other features we enjoy... all decisions for nearly everyone here are not solely based on performance alone.
