i've decieded that im going to build up the motor with new rods and pistons. The car has 35k on it right now so im looking for a list of tools i'll need that are out of the ordinary.


i know ill need a honing tool for the block and some measuring tools... what do i need exactly? can someone post some links?


I've searched and have only found one build thread by blue evo 8 .... are there more?


Any and all help would be great...

just send the block to a reputable shop in the area that has some experience with the 4g63 motor. i'm not sure of your're experience but this kind of job is not for the novice. alot of technical things come to play when doing such things. just me .02c
