agree, i got many friends who's into cars, like people who owns Stis, cobras, or m3, etc. my gf doesn't know a thing about car, so i guess she didn't go out with me because of my car. Kindda off topic, LOL

Park next to a Ferrari and then you'll be fine.

I try to park away from other people if possible. Or find two cars that look like they never leave the parking lot and park between them... at least that way odds are nobody will be slamming doors into your sides.

Ive parked at my college; not to mention mine sits outside in the apartment parking lot surrounded by other college students, a few people have asked me questions about it. Never had problem as far as damage or vandalism. Just watch your mouth and you should be fine IMO

I used to worry about all that, IMO just do what everyone else is saying and dont **** anyone off. If you can get a motion activated alarm to deter anyone from messing with your car.

I hate parking my EVO anywhere that I cant see it, lots of a%$#oles that dont give a damn about their cars putting dents and dings in doors. I got into a fight with someone one time about this, he slammed his door into my car (My old Integra GS-R thank god not the Evo) as I was sitting in my car and it was running (not like he couldnt hear the exhaust) wasnt a pretty outcome. Try to avoid crap like this.... Park WAAAAAAAAAY far away if you can and by cameras and you should be ok

i drove mine to high school and no one messed with it, and now i have it up at college and still no one messes with it. i think it really depends on the school and how many d***** bags are there.

im planning on right after school going to my car and waiting inside it playing PSP or watching a DVD in it and wait for the traffic to go down since its a 2 lane street with moms (woman cant drive , well most) and noob drivers. so ill wait after everyone is gone
How can you call other people "noob drivers" when you're still a noob driver yourself

Just based on your "I drive better than them" attitude in this post (women can't drive, noob drivers) you're going to **** someone off...

i live in a dorm at my school and so far no one has messed with my car here. was at my friends apartment 2 miles away for a few hours and it got broken into. i just always park somewhere that the people parked next to me can't hit my car being careless with there doors.

I've parked on campus for two years without much problems. The only time my car got damaged while parked was from someone scraping my bumper because she didn't know how to drive. Nothing mallicious though

My theory for parking lots is that for people who care about their cars should be in one section thats monitered while those who don't give a crap should park at another one. Segregation is the way to go

Don't worry about it too much. Like what other people have said, don't give people a reason to do anything to your car, or park away from other cars (to avoid door dings) but still in an area where the car is visible. I had my Evo during my last year in college and never really had any problems. Someone urinated on the side of my car, but I'm 95% sure it was a guy whose girlfriend I had slept with... AND he drove a WRX wagon. Another time, someone spit soda onto my window. But in both cases, it's liquid that can be washed off, so it could've been fifty times worse. And as nice as you are, there are still some jerks out there, but do what you can and take precautions.

i park my evo in my highschool parking lot(currently a senior, had the car since junior yr)..and no one really did something too drastic, one time they played a prank on all the cars that looked fast and expensive, and put shaving cream on the tires so that when you drive off the shaving cream would fly everywhere landing on your paint.. oh and some girl wrote "Prom?" on my windshield hahaha
