Will this fit an Evo IX?

It's only a downpipe, so easy with the eBay comments

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Downp...spagenameZWDVW

I know they state it fits a IX, unlike some of their other downpipes that only states VIII and is couple bucks cheaper. But do those bends look like on a IX downpipe?

Thanks

Did you have that same exect one? Cause the guy told me he sold these to evo IX guys and no one had any rubbing issue. And this one does look like all the evo IX downpipes coming out now...

The main thing I would be concerned with is the diameter. Ask the seller to send a pic with a tape measure showing the diameter of the DP.

Cheap downpipes off of ebay often rub the acd, but it is also largely dependant on the fitment of the rest of your exhaust system.

To prevent rubbing and heat transfer to your diff, you can hammer the point where it rubs or bend the two hangers. I did this with my "cheap" dp and I couldn't be more happy with the value of got from it.

look at the part it looks good, but why not just order one from a good vender or look in the forsale thread like mentioned and get one.I really dont know why people wanna buy cheap parts thats all most the same cost of name brands and have proven performance. just asking

and why is that?
all you do is heat the dp up and hammer it in about 1/2 and inch and it fits...
whats the big deal about that? better then paying 300 bucks for a new dp when you can easily make the one you have work
