Power Loss ?......

So, I have searched the crap out of this and no luck.....

I went to the dealer today where my buddy works (Sweet since I pay NADA and I don't get screwed over) to get an oil change and I have had the feeling that I had an exhaust leak or that something had come loose and sure enough one of the gaskets on my test pipe is leaking.

So I have the gasket ordered and plan to get it installed this weekend. What I am really wondering is if by any chance am I losing any power from this or creating any type of loss in back pressure on the exhaust system.

as long as the leak isnt anywhere near the primary O2 sensor, you shouldnt have to worry

What would happen if it was close to the o2?

What specifically should I look for?

As my sig states i have been tuned by TTP. The power was sick compared to being untuned, it kind of feels like the car has gotten a little bit slower after driving it for a couple for weeks. Could this be a vacuum line issue? Or do you think that I have gotten used to the power that i am putting down? My gauges are still registering the same amount of boost...

Arrrgh, I need to check everything out to see for sure. I was/am hoping for a loose vacuum line or something so that I can get that feeling back that I had when I got it tuned.... Also to check I am going to throw it back on the dyno to se if I put down the same #'s

Trust me, your just getting use to the power. Im wondering how quick of a car do you need to not get use to it? Im only reminded of how quick mine is when I get to play with someone on the street or when I give someone a ride.

Wow man you got a 50 trim and Meth! Now this makes me sad, it doesnt seem super fast anymore? I guess it is undestandable.... One of my first cars was a Integra GS-R and I thought it was slow literaly after a week so I tore it down and booste it and then got rid of it.

I have been wondeing that too.... How much power do I need to really feel like "it's enough" HA! 35R coming soon so that will be a big upgrade but it seems like its only going to be a temporary solution hahaha

Back pressure is not a good thing, my man. So i wouldn't worry about losing that.

I agree, just want to make sure that it is not making any type of back pressure and that I am doing anything bad to the car.
