I'd consider myself on the fluffy side that is, "The Downy Side!".

I mean, if people would wash their shirts with it, maybe they wouldn't slit their throats on their collar when they "break neck" at us.

 

I would think it is called the "darkside" because so many people of bought a EVO sold it for something else and then missed it so much they went and bought another one.

I came over to the darkside from a Celica GT-S. I'd never heard the evo called the "Darkside" but I'd always known that its abilities were outright nasty.

Plus the the sound of the turbo spooling is like an evil growl.

It's just a term for the other side. On Mustang sites people always post "Wen to the darkside" meaning they bought a Vette. It's a widely used term alot of Corvette guys say it when the move on to a "Viper".

I guess the Neon and STI guys say it when they move on to a EVO.

 

well what about the LY evos out there? are they considered to be on the "darkside"? I have BBY and it is a bright color, I don't think I am on the Darkside- who cares? I am on the darkside- I am EVIL !!

Yellow Evos are usually undercooked and are on the runny side unless you get they hard boiled.

Yes, the third gens did. They came with sequential turbos. (sp?)

 

But the rotary engine is its downfall

 

This term darkside seems to be used on a lot of boards. When I've owned hondas/acuras in the past, many would refer turboing their car as "going to the darkside".... Nothing new.
