Was looking to get a turbo back exhaust for my stock 2006 Evo MR. Anyone know how much clearance there is from the turboback to the ground after the install?

 

Yeah, I would like to know specifically for the Buschur Racing TBE with bullet muffler.

 

with the exhaust and the ground? it's a decent bit of clearence. i would say maybe 8 - 10 inches at the lowest part of exhaust? somewhere in there.

i have a ix mr with invidia 3" SS downpipe, perring HFC, and HKS carbon Ti cat-back. no ground scraping issues, and she is lowered on works ride springs by about an inch. occasionally if i am pulling over a steep curb i will scrape a little, but nothing major.

most of the clearence issues with the ix mr deal with the downpipe clearing the transfer case, or the cat clearing the center differential. once in a while my DP will rattle a bit off the tcase, but that is in frequent and it's not that severe when it does happen.

Pretty much the same as stock. Nothing you really have to worry about...

I have AMS TBE with HFC, and my MR has swift springs .. NO Issues

 

Theres a good amount of clearance. I have a 03' VIII with the Buschur Racing TBE and it fits like a glove. Plenty of clearance, hands down
