LC1 erratic readings..

Hi..

The LC-1 was functioning properly but now giving weird readings:
It intermittently shifts between 7.4 and 21 (AFR readings) on Logworks or Evoscan.. No other readings, surely something is wrong.

Is this a sign of a bad O2 Sensor, need to change it?

Thanks

Wael

PS: My two laptops (one has XP and the other has Vista) were working fine and both of them now are giving the same error readings..

Did you tried to do a reset ? ( getting the sensor out of the bung to recalibrate it with fresh air )

Yes It was actually the crappy radioshack serial to usb cable I bought. I got a new one and it seems fine.

Glad to hear it was the usb cable and not the lc1. I've had to send 2 lc1's back to innovate for replacement in the past and my brother sent his back as well because of the erratic reading and randomly popping up with error codes.
