Thats what I use on my 1gs. Works great, especially if you use something to buff it on/off.

The wd40 works however only until it rains a few times or u wash ur car. Plus I always seem to run out when I really need it doing things like this with it. All the compounds work ok from experience just be careful when buffing it cause u can burn the plastic easily. Only permenant fix I have found is to take the headlights out wetsand them with no less the 1500 grit and clear coat them. I did this to my old eclipse and they looked new. I also did a friends eclipse with cheap rattle can clear and it looked pretty good. And my evo is also starting to get the yellow crap so I will soon be pulling them to clear them as well. Its the same process as restoring cf pretty much. If u notice when u wash your car the cf looks new and ur headlights will look clear. Well once cleared that's how it will look.

some meguires headlight restoring kit. it comes in a white bottle and works really well. i had some oxidation on my headlights and on my friends headlights, he recommended me get it and both our headlights looks almost new. you just have to keep using it every once in a while and then wax it after. i should've taken some before and after pics to show.

I have a 97 plymouth breeze that has yellowed/fogged headlights. I can try some of these things and see what works.

Nothing to lose. Will try the WD40 first.
