i know the SE lips come in White. but i wasnt sure if its the white that matches the wicked whites on the evo ix. can someone confirm this?

 

as far as i know when you buy an SE lip from mitsubishi it comes unpainted. thats what happened when I got mine.

 

well i was just informed by russell over at mitsuparts.net and he said it comes painted weightless white...? anyone else?

 

mitsu body parts are usually painted

 

i would think since the se lip is on the 9 that if it came painted it would be wicked white. but what do i know.

Igloo White/Wicked White/Weightless White -- They are all the same color. I think Mitsubishi should change the names of the same color more. Makes sense to me.

well my car is called apex silver and cool silver....lol...it's the same color if that helps any....why can't they just call it silver?

 

I was just talking about this with someone here and apparently Nissan does the same crap. Wow, just wow...what a waste of part numbers and ink.

They should just use what Crayola uses for color names -- then everyone would be on the same page.

Tell Mitsubishi that. I called Mitsubishi a while ago about something and asked about it. They said the whites are the same...who knows.

 

i bought a Part from Mitsubishi "JDM IX rear" and it came white , and my car is Red, and i knew about it .. so expect your part to be unpaint "white" when you buy it.

 

What you just said is something that Mitsubishi states as a 'note' in caps. Although, I have sold the white parts to customers with white cars and no one has ever emailed me or called to say they didnt match. And I have had people who were hoping they would match.

I wouldnt write it off 100%, but I would get my hopes too high either.

Id like to hear anyone comment on this who has bought a white front lip, whether it be an SE lip or not...did it match?

 

as far as i'm concerned all jdm rears come prepainted... from what i know.. many of my friends have bought jdm rears that were painted weather there car is tarmac black or graphite grey.. so yours should of came painted rally red..

my friend who bought evo ix bumper covers from mitsu north america recieved them painted white that matched their evo ix wicked white. so i assume the se lip should be the same

 

I bought an SE lip for my car so I'll give you some facts.

-the SE lip comes prepainted and clear coated (wicked white)

-weightless white (03-04) is different than wicked white (05-current)
