I bought a 06' RS back in March, yes it was brand new. So, I just noticed that the interior door locks dont have the little red sticker thats supposed to be there. There's a spot for them, but no sticker on any of the doors. I know that my 05' RS had them, and the friends 05' MR does. But what gives, I know that they're trying to save weight in the RS's, but damn. Is anyone else missing your stickers. If you are missing them, maybe by the vin # we can figure out the production date. If there all the same or close the, red sticker door lock person, had the day off. HAHA.

 

I cant seem to find those little red decals listed seperate nor have I ever seen them sold seperate. Im assuming you would have to buy a new handle with the little locking mechanism on it. Basically it looks like the production date splits when the IX start production.

I would have thought they all came with the red on them. Strange...I think you are right -- it was 'mr red decal mans vacation day' when your rolled through the production line.

mine doesnt either... i just thought i picked up my car too fast and they didnt have time to put them on lol... i was there when the car came off the trailer then had to wait for them to detail it....

 

I just painted it with red touchup paint.

My car was one of the last IX's produced and doesn't have them.

I just found some old red stickers i had and cut out some pieces the right size and added them to the car.

 

Anyone have picture that red sticker?
