Looks like you are doing ok. But I would skip getting a intercooler.

Dont forget that you will need a boost gauge if you are going to start playing with the boost

Along with what everyone else is saying I'd suggest also getting a wideband and an EGT sensor. It will make tuning much easier and it also helps you keep an eye on the vitals of the car when you go racing at the track.

seems like everyone is leaning towards an MBC as oppose to an electronic one.. any reasons? or just preference?

K & N drop-in
eBay TBE w/test pipe
MBC (w/boost gauge, a must)
Dynoflash mail-in tune
Walbro fuel pump

I'm happy with all these power mods, best bang for the buck I could find, no labor costs. The exhaust is a bit too loud, but I'm planning on an HFC soon. Should quiet it down I hope. I also plan on an LICP and an O2 housing before long.

The next round of mods after that will be more expensive, so it'll be a while.

My favorite non-power mod: Buscher front motor mount. Cabin's a bit more rattly, but the smooth shifting and fewer clunky sounds make it well worth having.

i think nothign can beat the spool up speed of a mbc, but a electric has a more smooth ramp to the set psi. from personal experiance and from what ive seen.
