I completely forgot about this thread. I'll have to modify my tray now that I have one.

golgo13, Do you remove the whole panel when you do your oil changes? I only remove the back portion

I only put the fasteners on the back half and the tow hook cover.

I think I was able to get away with 10 fasteners total.

If I ever need to get to the whole motor, I probably have bigger problems. I figure I'll just remove the whole tray and have the downtime to support using tools and not quick release fasteners.

The DZUS fasteners are awesome for the tow-hook cover and rear part of the undertray but I couldn't make them work for most of the holes connecting it to the lip. I ended up taking a dremel to the plastic tabs on the lip to create another set of holes and just zip-tie'ing it in those places.

Apparently the old style that people have been using are discontinued but some are available for $43 for 10, the new style has a 1mm narrower shaft and are silver instead of black but cost $23 for 10. Since I'm not trying to match Ducati bodywork with the old style I sorted it out with two sets of the new style. Thanks for the link.

No problem.

I'm a cheap ***, so I've always been using those.

I just drilled the undertray as needed.
