battery relocation question

so im thinking about moving the battery to the trunk, i have a honda battery in the car now from the previous owner and the stock battery tray is all cut up so i just wanted to move a full size red top most likely to the trunk. i do have a system in the car, 500 watt mono amp with 2 12s and was curious what size wire and battery you guy would recommend.

0 gauge wire. I would recommend a circuit breaker instead of a fuse.

Boostin cleaned up my install with a fused battery distribution block from an Evo X under my hood where the factory battery sat. I ran 0 gauge wire from the trunk.

0 gauge or welding cable. You can get a good length of welding cable for cheap.

Did you vent the battery to the outside? I also put a plug in the drivers side rear bumper for quick charging / jump starts since the battery is inside an aluminum box
