New Mods

Ok so im gettin like 300$-500$ from my dad what do I buy.... Mods I have are in my SIG. I was thinkin meth kit fuel pump or a good power adder. Ne comments are welcome.

I would say fuel pump as well.Maybe a ported stock manifold if you can find one for a good deal.

get a nisei licp and fuel pump then retune your car-you'll feel more power trust me i just added a licp on my evo 9 with a road tune from jester and i was amazed its gonna run you $250 for the parts(licp,fuel pump)plus i would say $200 for a retune and you have to get that staff anyway couse its like basic mods

um, I wouldn't waste the $$$ on the LICP - I have the Nisei and didn't feel a thing. You can nickel and dime your way for 3whp here and 5whp there, or just buy a set of used cams (GSC S1's or Cosworth's) on this forum and get retuned.


+1 get the fuel pump first and foremost...

Ok so im kinda iffy about the cams because im not sure how hard they are to install. As for a fuel pump dont I need a fuel pump when I start boosting 30psi or is it so I dont lean out? Someone plz school me.

Holy hell son! Aint ya just starting out on modding? 30psi! Larger turbo do we hear, because that aint possible (possible, but retarded imo) on a stock turbo. If you aint got the walbro 255 fuel pump by now, you need to get it. after 21 psi, your running into surges when you step on it, then you look like a retard and get passed by me in my stock 86 civic. If you dont know how to install cams, just wait a little longer to get it done by a shop.

You dont necessary need a fuel pump yet. The pump on the 9's is better flowing and stronger than those on evo 8's

I was using 30psi as an example. WOW and get passed by your stock civic LOL.
I can install the cams but how hard is it to set the timing.....
