From now on search. I'm VERY happy with this forums search function, it's lovely.

Anyway, go with:
3" TBE
Drop in filter
MBC (turn up boost 2-3 psi)
Walbro 255
TUNE TUNE TUNE

....and you should be happy for awhile.

An 05 Evo is an VIII. An 06 Evo is a IX.

Also he also seems not to be interested in going fast in a straight line.. like all responses have given more power but not any better cornering like he wants.. If I were you I'd look at AMS's site www.amsperformance.com and look at their starting suspension package which seems to help greatly with the mid-corner to exit speeds reducing the understeer under boost.

Some countries actually get certain models of cars that the US either does not get at all or the cars are released sooner than in the US.It could be a EVO VIII to us but to someone in another country it could be a 2005 EVO IX.

Your intake as a stock intake will suffice for now. Upgrading the intake at BPU modifications is a waste of money. I believe it hurts without a tune, also.
