what should be my first mods
dont buy anything on ebay. Just general modding rule of thumb haha.
Decide what you want to do with your car, if you want to go for show or go, or both, come up with some kind of strategy and stick to it and always remember you get what you pay for.

panel filter - highflow cat - exhaust /what you like to looking at/ - new solenoid valve - tune.
This set up should be good for a long time, and will make your car feel completely different. Also from there you will have a better view which way you would like to go for a next step.

i put down 308 with grimspeed boost controller, wastegate actuator, ams exaust and test pipe and a k&n with no box with tune. about 1500 in mods. completly changed the car
most people suggest speed in situations like this. and although its a good way to go, people who get eibach lowering springs rave about what it does for the car. plus its not an expensive or hard mod to do.
Intake/Exhaust. Goal is to get your car to breathe better. I started with a cobb tuning turbo inlet pipe, intake, intercooler pipes, ATP 3 inch test pipe, and a Perrin Catback.
I don't know if this will help or confuse you.. I'm not 100% set on what I'm planning on doing but so far I think I plan to pick up some snow tires then put 1000 miles on the car and:
e85, injectors (I don't know which yet), fuel pump walbro
manual boost control
uicp 1 piece nisei
ams downpipe
tbe
test pipe
cosworth drop in filter (I think.. or full intake.. gotta research more)
dyno tune
boost gauge and a/f gauge (I think.. gotta research this one more)
I might be missing something.. so, to answer your question from another newbs view, I'd do the above, but I also wouldn't listen to me because there's more experience people here

I dont see the point or the fun in that. Why drop all that cash and get all that done at once. Modding is fun in stages I think, over time.
not sure how much you are looking to spend or if you are going for show or go type of mods but heres a link to our evo x parts http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/i...=41&class_8=41
