boost question

I got a question about boost. I have a gt35r with 280 cams, valves and retainers, magnus intake manifold, 1000cc injector. What is a safe amount of boost with pump gas. I am just wondering?

wow you have that and worrying about pump gas............lol must go with a meth setup to daily drive that sucker...lol

cant say how much would be efficient with the 1000cc injectors, but i would figure around the 30 range unless you can cut the fuel back and just lower the boost for daily driving

It'd probably be good to either call Buschur or look up their posts about their 500+whp HTA35r on pump gas only daily driver... but this was with BR272 cams..

depends on who is doing your tuning what grade pump fuel you have available. anywhere between 18-30psi on PUMPGAS is doable.

it all depends on the tune, naturally you wouldn't want to run a very lean afr and high timing with high boost on 93 octane. A richer tune and lower timing will allow more boost on pump gas.

also what works for someone else might be disastrous with your car....there's some threads where people are running 30psi on pump gas.

I run basically the same setup as you, and I would recommend two maps one for pump gas for 20-22 psi, and one for race gas for around 30psi. Your 35r will be most effecient on high boost w/ race gas, and 20-22 psi on pump is still plenty fast while being daily drivable.
