Why dont Buschur or AMS make Crash Beams (JDM rear)??

Since there is alot of us that are buying JDM rear Bumpers, why dont Buschur, AMS or others make Crash beams that work with the JDM rear bumpers?

its PITA to find someone that will make a crash beam or modify the USDM one to fit the JDM rear Bumper

Just a thought

heh if they would, I bet they would sell them for $400 .. Might as well stay with USDM bumper, and spend $1K on something else

Heck, I bet they could put the bumper and the crashbeam in a package together for less than that. I'd buy it.

I'm sure I won't be the first to say it, but I'm willing to bet liability issues is why we dont see more of them. Anyone out there willing to lend their car for some crash testing?

Here's a link to a guy who had one modified (or created, I'm not sure) by Afterhours Automotive. He claims they are willing to do more of them and it's gotta be safer than running with nothing at all back there.

I would like to buy a light-weight version, especially for the front.

The EVO X now has an aluminum one...
