now ive got all my bits back in and running.

i have done away with the recirc-valve / dump valve. and blanked both holes off.

gives a superb waste chatter lol..

but i have some concerns. will it damage turbo in anyway. yes i know i can back preaure blades etc.. but really enought to damage. ?????

dont the ford rs cosworths run without a valve standard..???

has anybody on here had experiance running without one..?????

if you dont wanna cause any damage i suggest you put it back to how it was...

 

put it back in and hope you didnt damage the turbo. you create tremendous ammounts of compressor surge with it out.

 

you can destroy a turbo very easily with out a diverter valve.

 

You cannot be serious. First of all, why did you title this thread "no valve"? There are many "valves" in the universe, and 99.9% of them have nothing to do with a BOV.

You will destroy your turbo with no BOV, and that's assuming you haven't already. Why in the name of God would you do that to your car?

so whats the worst damage can i excpet if i run with out it.?????

buying a replacement turbo/ engine if the parts from the turbo enter the engine

those arent Evo's. Most of those are made to be rebuilt/severly inspected after each use.

ive also read on the mlr. (lancerregister) many of their top tuner,s run their time attack cars without them.

they all say they have done many track day etc.. with no issues..

 

i have only done about 2 miles in total. with no recirc valve etc...

so hopefuly not damaged turbo.. if has i have 20g ready t ogo on lol....


guess i better put my blitz recirc vta back on...
