the ps2 is going to be the better performing tire all around.. one of the best tires you can buy actually..
the contrinental is just as good in the wet, the only downfall is the sidewalls could be a little stiffer, so handling will feel a little squishy.
We just put the conti 3's on our e55 and so far so good, but it doesnt handle like an evo

The bridgestone REO1R is THE best street tire out right now. You dont need to believe me. Just look at what the tire did at last years SCCA SOLO National Championships in the street tire class.
Some that solo may argue that there another tire thats as good, but not the Michelin or continental.
As for the volks, lightest wheel over the counter wheel. Search vendor for sale section for specs.
