Only thing I can think of for it not coming apart is it could snap in place to where you can't get it apart without snapping something off in the inside that holds it together. This would probably make it next to impossible to get the wing to stay together after that.
Hope that made sense.
I'm pretty **** so I wouldnt like that. I would want it to look perfect like the silver wing you posted. A good painter should be able to do that. Looks like they couldve spent more time masking it off to me.
The Evo 7 wing was adjustable, not the Evo 8 wing, regardless of what market the Evo 8 wing came from.

Well the thing is I think it would be easier to keep this wing rather then to go looking for a new one that will have to be painted anyway.
What would one you use to polish and clean the carbon fiber to get it looking like the wing in my second post?

The reason I said that was, in my owners manual it shows that those bolts are for movement of the wing plain. I just assumed that this was the case on non-US spec Evo's.
looks like it could indeed be wax residue...
which dealer replaced your wing? i have yet to find a reliable dealer for ANYTHING around here...
When Mitsu replaced my wing it was sent to the dealer unpainted. They in turn had it painted and the CF side panels were just taped off, they were not removed. It's just the way it is. I don't think it looks bad, its hard to tell from the pics though. Wait till you get it to make judgements on it.
