You mean the outside of the wing not the inside of the wing right?

 

some times it is hart to tell by pic. ,the carbon makes difficult to see if it is painted right or not , by pic.

 

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. He even said that he tried taking some good pictures of it, but they ended up making the wing look worse then it really was, but he sent them to me anyway.

He has it all packed up, should get it sometime next week I imagine if he gets it shipped before Friday.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get the wing.

Is it me, or does the first wing only have three bolts? ...or is it just the pic?

 

I would take it to a local body shop and get it cleaned up.I had some JDM headlights for one of my old cars.It was all discolored and yellow so I had a body shop polish the light and it looked almost new.

 

Is does appear that way. I looked at the other pictures he sent me and there is no other angle. I think its just the picture though.

If its really that bad thats what I'll do.

I never said they were a reliable dealer, I just said they replaced my wing.
I don't take my car there anymore after they failed to diagnose a bad WG actuator in 6 trips to the service department. They also replaced my front calipers and then said no to the rears because it "appeared they had been bled, causing them to peel" when they hadn't.

 

I mean the bolt covers on the inside of the main side plains.
I think there's only three...

the carbon fiber looks alot cleaner on the second picture because all evo spoilers come carbonfiber on the inside of the wing....alot of them r painted and u wont even notice....but he painted it u said and obv taped it off thats y it looks ****ty around the edges where the carbon fiber meets the paint

 

Actually the sides are plastic not carbon fiber on the IX's. The only part on the wing thats carbon fiber is the deck and even that is hollow compared with the more sturdy and solid VIII wings.

 

Appears some of you were right, the stuff in the cracks and by the bolts is leftover rubbing compound.

Shipped it out today. Should get it next week sometime. Can't wait! Tired of being wingless!
