Blown Turbo

If it's not one thing it's another

Was on a drive upstate 3 hours away from home base and started getting a winding noise sounded like my turbo intercooler pipe blew off, got to my boy's house and lucky I had my tools and he had some jacks and stands so we decided to take on the challenge and take the turbo off ourselves in his garage , I have never done this before its my first time at this tried to get over which didn't work and had to pull out the radiator , ended up pretty good and fast I couldn't belive how easy it was.

Called AMS and Eric hooked me up!! Sent out the new 850R next day air Big Props to AMS for always helping me out and quick to get the parts that I need to get on the road.

So hopefully tomorrow ,I'll get the turbo and get to installing asap, I wanna get my header powder coated black because it's doesn't look pretty anymore so If anyone knows anyone in the tri-state it will be appreicated.

Will be updating when the new turbo comes in excuse the iphone pics.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Good luck on the new turbo!!!

Did you find out why the previous turbo went bad?? Check your oil/water lines for any signs of clogging while everything's off!!

OMG bro, you have the worst luck man... I don't know if I want you near my car cuz you might give it some bad ju ju I'm kidding...

Every time I see something go wrong with your car I feel it because I know how it is trying to get something right and if it isn't one thing, it's another. Mad props for you in staying in the game and doing your thing! Can't wait to see what this new turbo is going to do for you!

you might want to ceramic coat the header instead of powder coat- I haven't seen any coatings that will withstand the exhaust temp....
