cf hood vents

So i was wondering what you all did with the very silver mesh on the seibon cf hoods...i dont really like the blinding silver and was wondering what you all did....if anything

cut out that pos and put the stock one in.....thats what i did. just use really big washers and it will bolt right up

sounds good. i think the silver mesh that comes on them looks like total crap on any evo

Thats why i went with the carbon creations hood. Fitment was perfect and I could put my stock vent in! I hate that mesh too. Ive put a couple stock vents in Seibon ones. Does require big washers doesnt look the best when the hood is popped but looks good on the outside!

when you guys drilled it out n put washers did it shake at all? n did you have to cut out the mesh in the center?
